Richard Pierce

Richard Pierce, 75, of Mountain Home, formerly of Corning, passed away February 14, 2023 at Hospice of the Ozarks in Mountain Home surrounded by his family.
Mr. Pierce was born July 2, 1947 in St. Louis, MO. He was the retired owner of BestWay in Corning. He was also a retired volunteer firefighter for Corning Fire Department. Richard enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals, fishing, camping, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his sons Alan Pierce of Siloam Springs, Kenny (Melanie) Pierce of Mountain Home and Greg (Tracie) Pierce of Gentry; brother Randall Pierce of Corning; sisters Pam (John) Anderson of Plain Dealing, LA and Becky Wells of Corning; grandchildren Nick (Kimberly) Pierce, Travis Pierce, Kassie (RJ) Finley, Myca Treat, Myia Treat, Korben Pierce, Kody Pierce, Ethan (Sydney) Pierce, Cody (Lacey) Young, Felisha (Corey) Crabtree, Lane Wilson; many nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends; and his beagle, Izzy Mae.
He was preceded in death by his son Timothy Mark Pierce; parents Junior Carlton and Lillian Faye (White) Pierce; brother Delbert Pierce; sisters Judy Henderson, Janet Cooper, Donna Gilbee, Connie Hankins, and Teresa Price.
Visitation will be Sunday February 19, 2023 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Corning Cemetery.
