Norma Jo White, 89, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Flo and Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs. White was born on May 11, 1934 in Monette, AR. She was a beautician and homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, crochet, camping, bargain shopping, watching razorback sports and attending the country music shows at Brookland. She was a member of the Grassylead Church of Christ.

On November 4, 1950, she married C.J. White. They celebrated 68 years of marriage prior to his passing on April 15, 2019 She is survived by two daughters, Diane and husband, Franklin Young of Milan, MI., Renee White of Corning, AR.; six grandchildren, Bart White and wife, Tina, Amy Jordan, Justin Young and wife, Tammie, Stephanie and husband, Adam Squires, Marcus Dunn and wife, Alexus, Heather and husband, Jeff Esmon; 15 great-grandchildren Madison and Mallory White, Erik and Ethan Jordan, Avery and Austin Young, Alec and Sophia Squires, Jax, Piper, Paisley, Parker and Everlee Dunn, Cayleigh and Carlie Esmon; brothers, Leonard Darr, Larry Darr and wife, Shelia; sister, Mary Pelts and daughter-inlaw, Deanna White.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie White; grandson, Erik White; parents, Verl Thomas Darr and Louise (Smith) Darr McFarlin; brothers, Kenny Darr, Sidney and Dennis Mc-Farlin; and sister, Margie Cozad Visitation was held Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services began at 2:00 p.m. with Earl Ladyman officiating. Burial followed the services in the Corning Cemetery.
