Marie Malott, 73, of Gatewood, MO passed away July 23, 2022 at home.

Mrs. Malott was born March 23, 1949 in Hickoria. She was retired from Delaplaine School District and enjoyed spending time with her family, watching videos, crossword puzzles, and word searches. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include her children Travis (Jamie) Malott of St. Charles, MO and Terrie Malott of Gatewood; sisters Loretta Shields of Lafe and Carol Blanton of Meridian, MS; grandchildren Shawn and Kayla Malott and Colton Smith; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Luther and Bulah (Pence) Dobbins; brothers David, Raymond, and Billy Dobbins and Allen Walley; and sister Rozetta Thompson.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Larry Dobbins officiating. Burial will be at Redenbough Cemetery, Corning.
