Leland Poyner, 85, of Doniphan, MO, passed away November 5, 2022 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO.

Mr. Poyner was born May 17, 1937 in Success. He was a retired welder who enjoyed riding horses, feeding deer, fishing, hunting, and spending time on the river. He was a member of Corning Masonic Lodge #719.

Survivors include his children Wayde Poyner of Success and Trisha (Tony) Leary of New Bern, NC and grandchildren Shauna Nicole, Bethany, Jarrod Mox and Logan.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse James and Agnes Estalee (Keelin) Poyner and brothers Thomas and Carl “Punk” Poyner.

Visitation will be Thursday November 10, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 11 a.m. with Rev. Richard Mahan officiating. Burial will be at Hitt Cemetery in Success.
