LaVerne Sarah Ann Fischer, age 89, of Lebanon, Ill., born November 23, 1934 in Leachville, Ark., to George “Lee” Williams, and Dessie V., nee Lofton, Williams, died Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Lebanon Care Center, Lebanon, Ill.

LaVerne was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gerald, her siblings Victor, Geraldine, Betty, Johnnie, Jerry; son Keith; and granddaughter Casey.

Surviving are her children Douglas (Patricia) McClane of O’Fallon, Ill., Mark (Mary) McClane of Athens, Ga., sister Bonnie (Bob) Crafton of Rogers, Ark., five grandchildren Anna (Jason), Devon, Christina, Jessa (Will), Nolan, and great-grandchild Harper.
