Lavadna Farmer

Lavadna Farmer, 73, of Knobel, passed away July 25, 2022 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Mrs. Farmer was born June 6, 1949 in Peach Orchard. She was retired from Monroe and enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, going to the beach, and spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She was a member of Knobel Church of Christ.

On September 9, 1969, she married Irvin Cato, Sr. He preceded her in death in 1996. She later married Lloyd Farmer on June 13, 1998. He survives.

Other survivors include her children Billy Dale Archer of Knobel, Tabitha (Benny) Ricker of Knobel, Irvin Cato, Jr. of Paragould and Amy (Jeremiah) Bruton of Delaplaine; brother Michael (Donna) Archer of Walcott; and sister Lula (Alvin) Taylor of Cabot.

In addition to her first husband, she was also preceded in death by her son Quentin Cato; parents Everett and Lucille (Arnold) Archer; brother Billy Archer; sisters Karen Arnold, Kathy Smith, Tywanna Hyde, Cecelia Meredith, Connie Stormes, and Jackie Derby; and grandchild Raygan Bruton.

Visitation will be Saturday from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Tim Carter officiating. Burial will be at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel.
