Eddie Leonard, 78, of Corning, AR., passed away July 4, 2022 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mr. Leonard was born April 4, 1944 in Clay County, AR. He was retired from Darling Store Fixtures. Eddie enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and raising chickens. He was of the Pentecostal faith.

On January 6, 1966, he married Johnnie Lou (Gardner) Leonard. They recently celebrated 56 years of marriage. Other survivors include his children Michael Leonard of OK., Henry Leonard of TX., Paul Leonard of Corning, AR., John Leonard of Datto, AR., Danny Thomas of Corning, AR., Dorrie Weeble of Doniphan, MO., Sarah Thomas of Neelyville, MO., and Loretta Sims of Columbia, MO.; siblings David Leonard, John Anthony Leonard, Lynn Niswonger and Ella Mae Hathaway; grandchildren Angel, Gary, Destiny, Evan, Hatley, Harlon, Nathan, Jonathan, Timothy, Zach, Cody, Tanya, Daniel, Josh, Jenny, Garrett, Angel, Andrew, Ryan, Matthew, Audrey, Alisha, Everly and

Liam.

He was preceded in death by his parents Paul Wayne and Laura Irene (Cremeans) Leonard and siblings Betty Crossen, Donna Pearson, Fred and Don Leonard.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2022 At 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Herbert Ellis officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery.
