Back-to-back Bobcat home runs dominated the first inning as the Corning Bobcats drove past the Cross County Thunderbirds 12-2 in a five-inning, run-rule victory March 21.
The Corning Bobcats continued their strong conference run March 31 with a dominant 13-4 win over the Bay Yellowjackets. The Bobcats’ offense exploded for 14 hits and 12 RBIs, controlling the game from start to finish.
The Corning Bobcats added another win to their record April 1, defeating the Hillcrest Screamin’ Eagles 8-3 behind a strong outing from senior pitcher Reid McMasters.

The Corning Bobcat basketball team is hosting a four man scramble golf tournament as a fundraiser. The golf tournament will be held on April 19 at the M.B. Ainley Golf Course starting at 8 a.m. It is $100 to sponsor a hole. There will be a limit of 20 teams at $240 per team. The payout will be as follows, first place-$400, second place-$320 and third place-$240. There will also be a 50/50 raffle held. Concessions will also be available.
