Lady Bobcat pitcher Ava Goodman earned a big victory over cross-county rivals, the Lady Mohawks, when she pitched a shutout on Thursday, April 14 in a home game. Goodman surrendered 0 runs on 1 hit over 5 innings, striking out 5 and walking 1.

T h u r s d a y , April 7, the Lady Bobcats traveled to Rivercrest to win a conference game. They captured the lead in the 1 inning when an error scored 1 run. In the top of the 2 , Corning scored 3 runs and not to be outdone, R i v e r c r e s t responded with 3 runs of their own.
The Lady Bobcats faced Harrisburg in a home game on Tuesday, April 5 on a beautiful spring afternoon. Corning fell behind early and couldn’t recover resulting in a 6-0 loss. Harrisburg took the lead on a single in the 1 inning when Hannah Mross singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring 1 run. The Lady Cats struggled to contain the high-powered Harrisburg offense, giving up 6 runs.
The Lady Cats stole the lead late and defeated Marmaduke 16- 12 on Monday, April 4 at home. The Lady Cats captured the lead in the 2 inning. An error scored 3 runs for Corning. Marmaduke scored 5 runs in the 4 inning. The game was tied at 10 with the Lady Bobcats batting in the bottom of the 5 inning when Kelsey Arnold drew a walk, scoring 1 run.
The Corning Lady Bobcats played host to Gosnell on Tuesday, March 29. Gosnell took the lead in the first inning with an error that scored a run. A single by Addison George in the 3 inning was a bright spot for Corning. Ava Goodman took the loss for the Lady Cats. She allowed 4 hits and 5 runs while striking out one batter. George, Katie Zimmer and Kenlie Watson each managed one hit.
