NEA Chosen finalist in championship

NEA Chosen, an 11U baseball team based out of Corning, is a finalist in the Arkansas State 11U Championship in Cabot, Arkansas. CHS Football program holds camp

The Corning High School Football program held a Youth Football Camp for all youth in grades 1-6 on June 14 - 17 at Bobcat Stadium. Scorpions win Summer Slam

Scorpions Midwest 9U are champions of the Sikeston Summer Slam with a tournament record of 4-1. The team is coached by Chris Smith, Jarred Green, Ben Foster, and Brandon Sisco. The players are from Corning and the Missouri towns of Neelyville, Poplar Bluff, Greenville, Doniphan and East Prairie. This is the second year in a row they’ve won the tournament on Father’s Day.

Strikers persevere to 4-0

Strikers pull out a 4-0 weekend to bring home some hardware. The team breezed through three games and battled through six innings and at one point were down 5-0 early in the game, but in the end the team pulled out a 12-10 win over a strong team.
