Bobcat Football
Last Friday night our Senior High season came to an end in the first round of the 3A state playoffs, losing to Camden Harmony Grove, 4914. The team traveled 4 hours to CHG on a charter bus, leaving Corning at 11:00 am and returning at 1:30 am. We want to thank the Corning administration for the support along with the Booster Club in making it a special event. Another thank you goes out to all of the students and faculty at Park Elementary that gave us a huge send off as we passed by the school. Our crowd at the game was tremendous even though the travel was so far away, and I know this helped the team ease into their normal routine.

Bobcat Football
Last Thursday was an exciting night for the program as we faced Piggott for the coveted Rice Bowl trophy and a chance to clinch a spot in the playoffs. After the first quarter, our offense got on track, along with an interception return for a touchdown by the defense and we went into halftime leading 162. The third quarter was scoreless as Piggott was threatening late in the quarter. After a defensive stop, we scored two more times in the fourth quarter and won, 30-2.

2022 Rice Bowl Champs!
It was raining rice last Friday night in Corning as the Bobcats won the Rice Bowl 30-2. It was a night of tears and cheers as Seniors were honored, and a bowl game was won against cross-county rival, the Piggott Mohawks that secured a ticket to the State Play-Offs.
When Bobcats prowl and witches are seen, children receive treats on Halloween . . .
The Bobcat Cheerleaders handed out candy and played games with little trick-or-treaters at Park Elementary on the final evening of October from 5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.
