The Jr. Bobcats coasted to an easy victory over the Sloan Hendrix Greyhounds on Tuesday, March 14 by a score of 11-2. The team didn’t commit a single error in the field. T.J. Small had the most chances in the field with 10.
The Jr. Bobcats defeated Piggott 11-0 on Saturday, March 11 as two pitchers, Brady Russom and Ty Price, combined to throw a shutout. Russom got the start for the Bobcats lasting two innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out two and walking zero. Ty Price struck out #9 to finish off the game.
On Tuesday, March 14, the Lady Bobcats were down 10-9 when they seized victory with a walkoff homerun by Kylie Zimmer in the bottom of the 7th inning on a 1-2 count that scored 2 runs. In the first inning, Manila got their offense started when an error scored 1 run and scored 4 runs in the 2nd inning.

The Corning Lady Bobcats have three players who were chosen for 3A-3 All Conference. The Lady Bobcats selected for 2022-2023 are: Senior Whitley Bolen, Senior Katie Hampton and Junior Kenlie Watson.
Corning Bobcats Clayton Vanpool, Eli Mason, Luke Blanchard, Roman Davis and Jayce Couch chosen as 3A-3 All Conference selections. .
Tuesday, March 7 the Corning Lady Bobcats softball team traveled to Marmaduke to face the Lady Greyhounds. Corning fell behind early struggling to contain the high-powered offense of Marmaduke and couldn’t recover resulting in a 10-0 loss.
Corning Lady Bobcat Whitley Bolen has been selected to 2023 3A-3 Basketball All State. In her senior season with the Lady Bobcats the team acquired a 24-8 record.
