Students on the Chancellor’s and Dean’s Lists for the spring 2025 semester at Arkansas State University have been announced. The lists recognize undergraduate students who achieved the highest gradepoint averages while completing a minimum of 12 credit hours of study.
The Corning Bobcat Football team will hold the Grip It & Rip It Benefit Golf Tournament on July 19. This is a 4-man scramble. There will be a 50/50 raffle, paid flights and a $100 hole sponsor. The cost will be $350 if sponsoring a team and hole. Bobcat baseball players chosen for the 2A-3 All conference were, Reid McMasters, Ty Price, Jackson Jett, Jaggar George and Rex Shourd. These players helped the Bobcats have a winning season this past year.

The Mississippi Mudcatters had another successful fishing trip on May 19. The biggest fish out of the 13 caught weighed 48 lbs. with the total weight of 200 lbs. This fish were caught on the Mississippi River by Dennis Heines, Wayne Hendley, Glenn Young and Grady Hendley.

The 2025 Bobcat Alumni basketball games were a slam dunk, celebrating the school’s rich basketball legacy. Held at Bobcat Gymnasium, the event brought together former Bobcat players from both the men’s and women’s programs for an afternoon of high-energy matchups, nostalgia and community pride.
