Friday night, Oct. 6, we traveled to Mountain View to play the number 1 ranked team in the state and defending state champions. Defensively we hung in early but our offense never got on track as Mountain View proved to be too physical for us up front and quickly shut down our run game. Late in the first quarter Mountain View went up 7-0 and took a 14-0 lead into halftime. Our defense got a stop on the first series of the second half but we could not get going on offense and left them with a short field. After scoring touchdowns in the third and fourth quarters, Mountain View won 28-0. Our Senior High record is 4-3 and we will finish our regular season this Friday, Oct. 13 versus Rosebud at Bobcat Stadium.

The Corning Girl’s Tennis team showed up and showed out at the 2023 District Tennis Tournament walking away with District Doubles Champions and All-District Tournament titles and becoming District Runner-Up.
