The Corning Bobcats won two out of three games against Harrisburg on Friday, Dec. 8. The Sr. Boys beat the Hornets by a score of 62-41. Jayce Couch scored #21 17 points for the Cats, Luke Blanchard #4 scored 13. Seth Green # 14 and Jakob Cox #10 each scored 7 points, Roman Davis #13 made 6 points, Haydon Cox #33 shot 4 points, Spencer Blanchard #15 - 3 points, Reid McMasters #40 and Peyton Cartwright #35 each scored 2 points and Dash Ellis #32 added a point.
The Lady Cats faced the Lady Mohawks on Thursday, Dec. 7 at home and won with good teamwork. Katie Karr was the top scorer for Corning with 16 points, Presley Martin and Addison George each scored 15 points, Olivia Compton was good for 10 points and Kenlie Watson added 2 points. This win over Piggott improved Corning to 2-0 in the Conference.

The Bobcats had their first win of the season in the first round of the Williams Baptist University tournament on Monday, Nov. 27 against Hillcrest. Corning reduced the number of turnovers and racked up 27 points at the half versus 17 points scored by Hillcrest. The Bobcats won 59-32. In his first game of the season after returning from an injury, Jayce Couch was the lead scorer with 19 points. Roman Davis contributed 16 points toward the win, while Seth Green added 8 points. Luke Blanchard shot 5 points, Spencer Blanchard scored 3 points and Cannon Cummings, Reid Mc-Masters, Peyton Cartwright and Seth Smith each provided 2 points for the team.
The Corning Lady Bobcats traveled to Lynn on Nov. 27 to face Hillcrest and lost by a narrow margin; 64-62. Presley Martin was the lead scorer for the Lady Cats with 22 points. Olivia Compton provided 15 points and third leading scorer was Katie Karr with 11 points.
