Colts outrun Bobcats; 63-30
The Corning Bobcats traveled to face Rivercrest on Saturday, January 27 and lost in a battle by a score of 63-30. The end of the first quarter had the Colts and Cats neck and neck 9 - 7 and by the second quarter the Colts began racing away with a score of 37-16 at the half. The top scorer for Corning was Jayce Couch with 12 points. Luke Blanchard scored 5 points, Cannon Cummings provided 3 points, while Spencer Blanchard, Roman Davis, Seth Green and Reid McMasters each added 2 points.



Corning falls to Osceola; 81-58
The Bobcats faced a tough Osceola team at home on Thursday, January 25. The digit 22 seemed to be the number of the night for the Seminoles who scored 22 points each quarter with the exception of the 3rd quarter, when the Cats held them to 15 points. Osceola kept a slight lead with Corning behind 13 points at the half. Osceola continued to pull away through the last two quarters.



Bobcats win 1st place in FNB Tournament
The Corning Bobcats defeated the Van Buren Bulldogs by a score of 67-55 on Saturday evening, January 20 to claim the 2024 First Nationa Bank Championship. .

FNB Tournament Finals Player of the Game
Jayce Couch was named First National Bank Finals Player of the Game for his performance in the Bobcat’s finals victory over Van Buren. Couch scored 31 points.

Lady Bobcats take 2nd Place in FNB Tournament
The Lady Bobcats faced Maynard in the Finals of the First National Bank Tournament on Saturday, January 20 after defeating CRA in the Semi-Finals. Corning lost to the Lady Tigers by a score of 55-48.
