Sr. & Jr. Volleyball falls to Bald Knob; 3-0
The Corning Volleyball teams traveled to Bald Knob on Thursday, Sept. 12 to compete in non-conference matches. The Sr. team lost to Bald Knob, the Jr. team rallied and beat Bald Knob while the 7th Grade team split with Bald Knob.

Jr. Cats beat Rector; 40-20
On Friday, September 6 our Jr. B team and Junior High team played Rector at CHS. Our B scored 3 times in the 25 minutes and looked very good in their execution on offense. All of our players played as we use these competitions to see our kids apply basic skills in a competitive setting.

Corning Jr. B Football comes out hot against Rector
The Jr. B team scored three times in less than half an hour in their outing against Rector.
Sr. Girls Volleyball falls to Piggott; 3-1
The Piggott volleyball teams came to town to face Corning on Thursday, Sept. 5.

Mudcatters make last run of season
The Mississippi Mudcatters went out on their last fishing trip of the year on the Mississippi River on Tuesday, Sept. 10. The fisherman had not been out on the river since July. Their last fishing excursion yielded a total of 175 lbs. of fish, including some large fish weighing 43 lbs., 53 lbs. and 17 lbs.


Cats dominate Brinkley; 62-28
On Friday, August 30th, we played Brinkley in our home opener. Again, we came out fast, scoring on our first 6 possessions.
