The Jr. Lady Bobcats team closed out the first half of their season with a hardfought 36-33 victory over BIC, improving their record to 7-4 overall and 5-1 in conference play. Despite a setback the night before against EPC in a 36-24 loss, the team continues to show significant improvement as the season progresses.
The Sr. Bobcats basketball team picked up a hard-fought conference win on Homecoming night, defeating Marmaduke 52-4. Despite trailing twice during the game, the team relied on tenacious defense and a renewed focus on rebounding to spark crucial comebacks in both halves. Improved intensity led to efficient offensive possessions down the stretch.
The Corning Junior Boys secured a big conference victory on Tuesday, Dec. 17, defeating the Cougars 49-39 to remain unbeaten. The win improves the team’s record to 7-2 overall and 4-0 in conference action.
