The first 12 days of the yar are supposed to be the governing days, so I have always been told. Meaning that each day represents the weather for one month. If that is the case, things are going to be pretty drippy around here for a while…Sunday was dark and dreary, with no sunshine; Monday was a repeat performance, and you know the rest. A raincoat might be a good investment.

Right now, I don’t care if I never have anything else sweet to eat. I can just about close my eyes and see and smell a big old pot of Great Northern beans boiling on the stove… to be eaten with cornbread and pickle relish.

LITTLE ROCK – Legislators finished the calendar year with a final round of recommendations for spending federal relief funds and reserve funds. The recommendations include using another $93.8 million for broadband projects and $20 million to upgrade computerized case management for the state court system.
