Jerry Carol (Kirby) Tarr

Jerry Carol (Kirby) Tarr, 80, of Paragould, AR., passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Tarr was born in Vanduser, Missouri on July 5, 1942. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a supervisor at H&R Block. Previously she had worked at Chrysler Financial Corporation. She also had her real estate license in the state of California. She enjoyed gardening, oil painting, sewing, crafts, antiquing, and traveling. Golfing was her favorite sport and she was a member of the Mission Lakes Women’s Golf Association (Desert Hot Springs, CA.) for years. She served as a part of the Mission Lakes Earthquake Preparedness and Neighborhood Security teams. She was also a member of the Women’s National Republican Club. Jerry was of the Baptist faith.

Oneta Eva Rieves

Mrs. Oneta Eva Rieves, 100, of Corning, Arkansas passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, Arkansas. Mrs. Rieves was born on October 23, 1921 in Woodbury, Tennessee. She was a homemaker; she had worked as a nursing assistant at Corning Nursing Home and as a toe taper at Johansen Brother’s Shoe Company. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, visiting with family and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Corning.

Ethel R. Hudson, 98, of Corning, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Corning Therapy and Living Center. Mrs. Hudson was born in Steele, MO., on August 17, 1924. She was retired from Johansen Brothers Shoe Factory in Corning. She enjoyed watching Cardinal Baseball. She was a member of Corning First Baptist Church.

Fred Raymond Scott, 55, of Corning, AR., passed away Friday, September 9, 2022 at Saint Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Fred was born November 29, 1966 in Detroit, MI. He was always joking and enjoyed spending time outdoors arrowhead hunting and being at the lake or river. He loved being with his family and friends, especially his son Hayden and daughter, Sayuri. He was a dog lover.
