Monday, April 22, 2024 12:52 p.m. - 68-yearold female caller stated she had been trying to get her patient’s food ready and get stuff done but the female is having problems and the caller just needs help now. Caller hung up before dispatch could get any additional information. Attempted to contact AMH38, they are not at base. Requested officer go by residence to get more information on what’s going on.

Gallons, Nuggets, and Public Education

Gas is about $3 per gallon, milk is about $3.60 per gallon, and a six-piece chicken nugget happy meal from McDonald’s costs $5.50. And Sarah Sanders wants to give public school kids less than half of moneys available for grade-school through high school (more about this later). Money just isn’t going as far as it once did.

Arkansas net farm income decline projected to continue in 2024

Arkansas’ 2024 net farm income is expected to fall $0.5 billion from 2023 levels, according to a report Tuesday from the Rural & Farm Finance Policy Analysis Center. The “Spring 2024 Arkansas Farm Income Report” has two Arkansas authors, Hunter Biram and Ryan Loy, both extension economists for the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture.
