The 2024 Corning Chamber Christmas Banquet brought holiday spirit and community together on Dec. 12, making the annual event a resounding success. Attendees gathered for an evening filled with festivities, including a table decorating contest, prizes, and entertainment.

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commissionâs Conservation Scholarship Program is accepting applications for the 2025-26 academic year until Dec. 31, 2024.

On Nov. 26, the Clay County Sheriffâs Department was notified by Rector Police Officers about suspicious activity involving two vehicles in the Harpâs parking lot. A deputy near Rector observed the vehicles leaving the parking lot. The vehicles traveled south on Highway 119 and turned left onto County Road 508.
