Corning High School Marching Band brings home four first place trophies
On September 27 the Corning High School Marching Band performed at the Pirate Invitational in Gosnell, bringing home four 1st place trophies in the Class A division for the categories of Color Guard, Percussion, and Band. The theme for 2025 is “The Golden Age of Rock” featuring songs from The Rolling Stones, Warren Zevon, and The Eagles.
Traffic stop leads to arrest of Paragould man wanted in two states
On Wednesday, October 1, at approximately 11:30 a.m., a Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a motorcycle traveling north on Highway 139 near Pollard.
