Veteran’s Day Program to be held at Corning High School

The annual CHS/CMS Veteran’s Day program will be held on Friday, November 11 at 9:00 a.m. in the auditorium. We request that our local veterans send pictures, one from military service and one current to be used during the ceremony. If you would like to participate, please email your pictures to alex.teague@ corning.k12.ar.us. All veterans and their families are encouraged to attend. First time voters make their voices heard in taking it to the polls

Clay County Election Commissioner Earl Ladyman commemorated the first time these three young men exercised their ability to participate in civic life with photographs. Colton T. Evans, Colton William Kelsey Vallance and Chandler Michael Ray Jackson chose to have a voice in choosing the elected officials whose decisions impact their lives and community.
