The Clay County 4-H Tech Changemakers plan to help the community thrive by providing information to help close the digital divide while increasing access to in-demand digital skills. These workshops are FREE and open to everyone. Our next workshop topic will be MICROSOFT WORD DOCUMENT AND OTHER DIGITAL QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS on Wednesday, March 15th from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm at the Rector Public Library, 121 West 4th Street Rector, Arkansas. Please bring your digital device (cell phone, iPad, laptop, etc.) that you would like additional help operating. We will be available to answer your questions or help find solutions to your digital problems.

Riceland new CEO introduced in Winter District Meeting

Rice production is ingrained in Arkansas farming and in line with that, the mission of Riceland Foods, a farmer owned cooperative, is to help farmers feed the world sustainably. It is honorable work and one that the new CEO of Riceland, Jason Brancel, takes seriously. He addressed the audience of local farmers at the M.B. Ainley, Jr. Community Center on Tuesday, Feb. 21 after a hearty luncheon of beef tips or chicken on a bed of rice, green beans, Au Gratin potatoes, rolls and an after meal palate cleanser of Rice Krispy treats.
