CMS students model importance of literacy

As part of Read Across America Week, a group of 18 Corning Middle School students in 5th through 8th grade visited Park Elementary on Tuesday, March 2. Upon arrival the readers were greeted by classroom leaders that escorted them to their classes, and also gave each reader a bag of goodies in appreciation. The activity was such a success that it may proceed and expand in the future.
