Submissions are now open for the 2025 “Wildlife of Arkansas” student art contest. This contest is free and open to all Arkansas youth in grades K-12. This is an excellent opportunity or young artists to explore the wonder and beauty of Arkansas’ native wildlife, wildflowers and landscapes through their creativity and skill. CMS Science fair winners

School Notes

Fourth graders at Park Elementary recently selected a book, read it with family, and created their favorite book character using a pumpkin. Then, they completed a book report and presented it to their class.

The Corning School District met on Monday, October 16, 2023, in the boardroom with all members present. Following the approval of minutes, board approved the financial report presented then entered into executive session for security and personnel matters.

Employees at 1st Choice Healthcare in Corning wore pink Dee’s Crew t-shirts in October to honor their late friend and manager, Dee Ahrent, who survived breast cancer and went on to help others navigate the healthcare landscape.
