Hewett graduates William H. Bowen School of Law
Lance Hewett graduated from the UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law during the commencement ceremony held on May 11, 2024. His post-graduate plans are to join the Law Offices of Katherine E. Blackmon. His area of practice is Family Law.

Ward receives Hannah Blankenship Memorial Scholarship
Joslin Ward, a 2024 graduate of Rector High School, is the recipient of the 2024 Hannah Blankenship Memorial Scholarship. Ward was presented the award prior to the Honors Day presentations for Rector High School on May 17 at 9 a.m. by the Blankenship family.

Storms impact Memorial Day weekend
It was a stormy Memorial Day weekend for much of northern Arkansas with severe weather impacting the area throughout the weekend and at least 7 tornado related fatalities in the state. The town of Rogers took the brunt from a tornado devastating the town.

Corning braves Memorial Day weekend storms
