Betty Bowers, 91, of Corning passed away March 3, 2024 at Cleveland Clinic Martin North in Stuart, FL.

Mrs.Bowerswasborn November 10, 1932 in Thorn Grove. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking for and spending time with her family, especially her six great-grandbabies. She was an avid news and game show watcher. She was a strong, Baptist woman who had an unwavering Christian faith.

Survivors include her children, Doin Bowers, Jr. (Lisa) of Paragould and Renee Bowers Garland of Corning; brothers, Jack Catt of Knoxville, TN, Larry Catt (Shirley) of Corning, Roger Catt of Imperial, MO and Garry Catt of Arnold, MO; sisters, Shirley Flowers of Heber Springs and Dena Dodd (Bobby) of Corning; grandchildren, Trey Bowers (Christian) of Corning, Chelsea Phillips Bauschlicher (Chris) of Corning and Byshea Bowers Morgan (Michael) of Piggott; great-grandchildren Butler and Dutch Bowers, Boone and Sloan Bauschlicher, Rider Monroe and Briggs Morgan; step-daughters Deborah Hartsock, Shannon Brummett and Kara Speckman; best friend Betty Bateman Reid; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life and father of her children, Doin Bowers, Sr. and her loving second husband, Marron Archer; parents, Dale Logan and Hazel (Hancock) Catt; brother, Ronald Catt; and sisters, Garonda Stevens and Doris Bell.

Visitation was held Sunday March 10, 2024 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service followed at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial at Corning Cemetery.
