Corning Traffic stop leads to drug arrest, felony charges

A routine traffic stop on Dec. 27 led to the arrest of a Missouri woman on multiple drug-related charges, according to the Corning Police Department. Officers stopped a vehicle on N.W. 1st Street for expired tags and discovered that the driver, 24-year-old Ladonna Howell, had a suspended driver’s license and an outstanding felony warrant from Missouri. During the stop, Howell informed officers that there was marijuana in the vehicle.
