Voter registration deadline – Feb. 5

The upcoming Preferential Primary Election and Nonpartisan General Election are March 5, 2024, and it is important for Arkansans to know that the deadline to register to vote for this event is Monday, February 5. Early voting begins February 19, 2024 with polls open between 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Corning teams beat CRA to advance to FNB Tournament Finals

Corning Boys and Girls Basketball Teams advanced to the Finals of the First National Bank Tournament by defeating Crowley’s Ridge College in the Semi-Finals on Saturday, January 20. The Lady Bobcats defeated the Lady Falcons by a score of 63-28 to advance to the First National Bank Finals to face the Maynard Lady Tigers.

McMasters named Player of the Game in FNB Tournament

Reid McMasters earned Player of the Game for his performance in the Corning vs. Ridgefield Christian game in the First National Bank Tournament on Saturday, January 20. McMasters scored 23 points and was instrumental in the Corning JV victory over Ridgefield; 61-48.

Karr named FNB Player of the Game in Semi-Finals

Lady Bobcat Katie Karr’s performance during the semi-final game vs. Crowley’s Ridge Academy in the First National Bank Semi-Final game earned her the title of Player of the Game. Karr scored 10 points to help advance the Lady Bobcats into the Finals against Maynard.
