Due to the demolition and construction of the new high school, the district has released a new map of the drop-off and pickup lines. The district and local law enforcement encourage drivers to exercise caution while driving in the school zone to help ensure the safety of the children. As a reminder, the speed limit within the school zone is 15 mph, and will be strictly enforced through the entire school year.
Watch out! So far, best I can tell, we have had seven fogs during August, and we have a few more days to go! If you put stock in the old saying that the number of fogs in August indicate the number of snows in the Winter, you are probably preparing for a lot of slipping and sliding around. Maybe it will take care of the mosquito problem for next Summer!
Welcome Back, Corning! Building a Better Future, Together.
