Old friends from the Corning High School Class of 1972 enjoyed a day together at the home of Anne Arnold Stone at Fairfield Bay on Saturday, July 15. The year 2022 marked the 50th anniversary of their high school graduation. Stone explained the class did not get together then. “Vickie Arnold Johnson and I were talking about we needed to do something as a class and I offered to host at my home in Fairfield Bay.” Anne smoked a couple pork butts for the group to eat while others brought side dishes and desserts. Those attending were Vickie Arnold Johnson of Illinois, Alan and Sandra Wilkerson Young of Corning, Regina Adams Brewer and husband, Thomas Brewer of Corning, Pam Vinson Raspberry and spouse, Kenny Raspberry of Bryant, Rick and Renee Jones of Batesville and Sharon Morris Phelan. Retired Corning educator, Jean Ann Hensley, now living in Fairfield Bay, also came to visit with the group.
