Ann Katherine Engel, 87, of Peach Orchard, passed away December 27, 2022 at Corning Therapy and Living Center in Corning.

Mrs. Engel was born June 28, 1935 in Peach Orchard. She spent her life taking care of children and family. She loved her dogs and enjoyed playing bingo. She was a member of St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church in Corning.

Survivors include several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; special friend Shelia and Ebbie Sellmeyer; and caretakers at Corning Therapy and Living Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jake and Rose (Kirchner) Engel; brothers Bill, Fred, Pete, Louis, and infant brother Nick Engel; and sisters Marie Gish and Rita Siefert.

A graveside funeral mass will be held at St. Bernard’s Catholic Cemetery in Knobel on December 28, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Father Michael Wurtz officiating. Burial will follow at the cemetery.
