Cynthia Ainley

Cynthia Ainley, 66, of Corning passed away December 21, 2022 at home.

Mrs. Ainley was born July 2, 1956 in Springfield, MO. She was a jack of all trades and had worked at many places including Basler Electric and as a C. N. A. She loved chasing her grandchildren, spending time with her family, baking, coloring, and crafts.

On July 30, 1979, she married Tony C. Ainley, Sr. They were married 36 years prior to his death on April 9, 2015.

Survivors include her children Amanda Forrester of Corning, David (Mary) Ainley of Neelyville, MO, Tony “Curt” Ainley, Jr. of Illinois, Rebecca Ainley of Senath, MO, Megan Ainley, Alesha (Justin) Erisman, Sarah Ainley, and Jason “J. J.” Ainley, all of Corning; brothers Junior and Kevin Forrester, both of Lake St. Louis, MO; grandchildren Jessie Dean II, Dakota Wyrick, Nique Dean, Cameron, Lora- Lynn, Dalton and Marcus Ainley, Xanthia, Atheana, and Freyja Erisman; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents Charles and Bonnie (League) Forrester; nephew Chas Forrester; and niece Jaimie Forrester.

A memorial service was held Friday December 23, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning with Linda Dean officiating. Visitation was from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
