Jerry Niswonger, 67, of Grandin, MO passed away August 1, 2022 at home.

Mr. Niswonger was born June 11, 1955 in Aurora, IL. He was a retired mechanic who enjoyed hunting, fishing, classic rock music, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife Carolyn Niswonger of Rector; sons Jerry Niswonger, Jr. of Grandin and Heath Miller of Marion, IL; father Edward Niswonger; brother George Niswonger; sisters Pat Niswonger, Pam Castro, and Sharon Niswonger; and grandchild Bella Miller.

He was preceded in death by his mother Mable (Herren) Niswonger and brother Glenn Niswonger.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday August 5, 2022 at Black Cemetery in Palatka under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service.
