Delores “Dorlis” (Brickley) Steelman, 71, of Maynard passed away March 22, 2022 at Randolph Home in Pocahontas.

Mrs. Steelman was born March 21, 1951. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She also loved sports, especially baseball, fishing, and watching westerns. She was of the Baptist faith.

On April 18, 1992, she married Robert Steelman. They were married 26 years prior to his death on November 29, 2018.

Survivors include her children Wanda Patrick of Pocahontas and Allen Patrick of Corning; brothers John Brickley of Waynesboro, GA and Ronnie Brickley of Heber Springs, AR; sisters Margaret Norwood of Jacksonville, AR, Ethel Thomas of Jacksonville, AR, Mary Brooks of Pocahontas, AR., Brenda Pounds of Pocahontas, AR, Linda Daughhetee of Maynard, AR, Patricia DeLagle of Waynesboro, GA, Rita Clayton of Waynesboro, GA; grandchildren Sara and Shane; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents William Ainzley “Bill” and Ruby Irene (Crego) Brickley; brother Jesse J. W. Brickley; and sisters Helen Langley and Betty Reynolds.

Pallbearers were Robert Pounds, Sam High, Dakota High, Justin Lawrence, Hunter Medlock and Jamey Daughhetee.

Graveside service was held at Pirtle Cemetery Friday March 25, 2022 at 2 p.m. under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home. Burial followed at the cemetery.
