Spelling champs reign in Clay County Bee showdown
Corning High School Seniors participated in the “Get Real” program Jan. 22, provided by Clay County Cooperative Extension FCS Agent Christin Holmes. The program is a hands-on experiential simulation that teaches young people about personal financial management.
The Bobcats traveled to Jonesboro on Saturday to watch Arkansas State take on North Texas in a thrilling college basketball matchup. The Red Wolves secured the victory, giving the Bobcats an upclose look at high-level competition.
Submissions are now open for the 2025 “Wildlife of Arkansas” student art contest. This contest is free and open to all Arkansas youth in grades K-12. This is an excellent opportunity or young artists to explore the wonder and beauty of Arkansas’ native wildlife, wildflowers and landscapes through their creativity and skill.
