As we close the book on 2024, one thingâs for certain: the saying âIt goes by so fast when you get olderâ isnât just a cliché â itâs reality. This past year brought its share of joy, heartache, new opportunities, and challenges. From moments of celebration to the strength needed during tough times, weâve weathered it all. And yet, here we are â ready to take on 2025 with fresh determination and a little hope tucked in our pockets.
The Jr. Lady Bobcats team closed out the first half of their season with a hardfought 36-33 victory over BIC, improving their record to 7-4 overall and 5-1 in conference play. Despite a setback the night before against EPC in a 36-24 loss, the team continues to show significant improvement as the season progresses.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. â Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders today announced that her state agency-wide Holiday Food Drive collected 21,472 lbs. of food, all of which has been donated to the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance. The Arkansas Department of Corrections collected the most food out of all state agencies: 6,975 lbs. donated. The Arkansas Department of Inspector General collected the most food per employee: 13.6 lbs.

In less than two years, the LEARNS Act has transformed Arkansas education for the better by raising teacher pay, investing in literacy, and banning indoctrination. I look forward to this latest court challenge being struck down just like all the others.â
