Traffic stop leads to arrest
On Monday, September 30, 2024, at approximately 8:45 P.M., the Clay County Sheriff’s Department made a traffic stop on Lee Street in Corning. When the deputy came in contact with the driver and passenger, he learned the passenger was on felony probation.

On October 19, 2024, the Corning Police Department received a call about a domestic disturbance. Once on the scene, the officer was advised that the offender had fled the scene prior to his arrival.
