The hit show follows skilled pickers in the business, as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques. They are always excited to find historically significant or rare items, in addition to unforgettable Characters and their collections.

Work has continued on the Corning City Pool project. On Tuesday, April 16, gunite, a concrete blend of sand, cement, and water was sprayed on rebar inside the pool. On Wednesday, the gunite was being sprayed with water to keep it moist to protect it from cracking. Jason Liau of JRL Construction, said the deep end of the pool is 8 feet deep. Barring any weather delays, the pool is on track to be ready for opening of the 2024 summer season.
On Monday 8, 2024 at approximately 5:00 P.M., a Clay County Sheriff Deputy was on North Johnson Street in Piggott when he observed a white Nissan Altima with no license plate. The deputy tried to make a traffic stop, but the driver didn’t stop until he was on East Cherry St. When the deputy approached the driver, he could smell Marijuana. After removing the driver, the deputy conducted a search of the driver and vehicle. 36-year-old Morgan Wade Burns of Piggott was placed under arrest and taken to the Clay County Detention Center and booked in on the following charges: Delivery of Meth or Cocaine GT 2GM But LT 10GM, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of SCH IV or V with Purpose to Deliver.
On April 16, 2024, officers with the Corning Police Department made a traffic stop on West Main Street. During the stop officers could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver, who had a suspended drivers license and a warrant out of Randolph County, was then placed into custody and a search of the vehicle was then conducted. Several narcotics were found in the vehicle along with a loaded firearm. 30-year-old Harley Hiles of Corning was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule 2 Less Than 2 Grams, Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule 6 less than 4 ounces, Possession of Firearms by Certain Persons, simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, Driving on a Suspended License, and No Insurance. Mr. Hiles is being held at the Clay County Detention Center. On April 17, 2024 District Judge Dan Stidham ordered that Mr. Hiles be held without bond.
A crash between a tractor-trailer and a Buick SUV occurred on Monday, April 15 at 12:20 p.m. taking the lives of six people, according to a report from the Arkansas State Police. The location of the accident was the Corning Y; the intersection of Highways 62 and 135.
