Maggie Brinsfield of Walnut Ridge was crowned the 2024 Miss Independence on Thursday evening, July 4th at Wynn Park. Maggie won a scholarship for 3 credit hours equal to $438 donated by Black River Technical College and a cash prize of $100. 1st Alternate won $200, 2nd Alternate, $100, 3rd Alternate - $50 and 4th Alternate won $25.
