Students build their home libraries

Students at Park Elementary have participated in Book Blast Voyage for the past month to start and maintain home libraries to encourage a love of reading. Along the way they have had opportunities to win Treasure Chests stuffed with cash and prizes. Students asked 10 people to donated to their home libraries and this week their books arrived. Radcliff receives MAT Academic Award

By PAM LOWE This year the Williams Baptist University’s Graduate Award recognized the work of an outstanding MAT Graduate student who shows exceptional skill and effectiveness in regard to promoting student learning and professionalism. This year’s recipient of the 2023 MAT Academic Award was Andrew Radcliff, a coach at Corning High School.

Senior Lady Cats honored during Senior Day

Senior Day for the Lady Bobcats was Thursday, April 20 at 4:15 p.m. Seniors Jayden Brickley, Madison Vanderberg and Morgan McCallister were presented plaques and softballs signed by teammates by Coach Jerry Songer in recognition of their dedication to the team and the game of softball. Following the ceremony the Lady Bobcats faced the Pocahontas Lady Redskins.
