Johnson begins role as senate Majority Leader

Senator Blake Johnson (R-Corning), who represents District 21, began his role as Senate Majority Leader as the 2023 Arkansas General Assembly began the second week of Jan. In an interview with the Clay County Times-Democrat, Johnson said the role of the Majority Leader is to lead the senate caucus of the majority party, to help develop policy and to help keep the caucus unified in order to help members pass and develop good policy.
