JACKSONVILLE - It was a perfect day for Brady Russom of Corning. Russom led the Corning Junior Squad 1 team to victory with a perfect score of 25 at the Arkansas Youth Shooting Sports Program Junior East Regionals held today at the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation’s Jacksonville Shooting Sports Complex.

Though the weather didn’t cooperate, Growing Corning Together and the crowd attending the second Hop Alley Rally didn’t allow it to dampen their fun during the morning of Saturday, May 21 in downtown Corning. There were food and craft vendors lining 2 Street with crowds of people walking downtown to purchase crafts, eat, play cornhole, enjoy face painting and visit the student art exhibit at The Oaks. The Lions Club provided free eye exams for children, a dog show, KBKG presented a live broadcast of the morning, a silent auction and hourly money drawings were announced.
