Sleep is Good Food
Many folks think about losing weight and getting in better shape to have more energy this time of year. The colder weather tends to keep us in the house and that often leads to sedentary activities like watching tv or surfing the net. Food certainly impacts many health conditions from arthritis to obesity and without adequate nutrition, weight and energy levels are affected. But what we may not realize is that that hitting the sack at a normal hour is equally important to whittling down the waistline and raising energy levels as hitting the gym. Without adequate sleep, you may not have the energy to exercise anyway!
