Case McDonald and friend, Cole Puckett from Illinois hunted and killed approximately 114 snow geese in the Corning area over last weekend. The young men hunted the geese under a conservation order designed so hunters can reduce Snow, Blue and Ross’s goose numbers through increased harvest.
Lakeside Specialty Metals coming to Corning Lakeside Specialty Metals in Paragould is branching out to Corning and the company plans to be operating in the spec building on Lee Drive according to Corning Mayor Greg Ahrent. Ahrent said they plan to be operating mid-summer and plan to hire 8-10 employees with a slow upstart.
