Minus one case in county; 103 cumulative cases

On Monday, July 27, the Arkansas Department of Health dashboard indicates that there are now 103 total cumulative cases; one less than reported on Sunday, July 26. ArkansasCovid.com in reporting the ADH dashboard cases for Clay County, also indicated no new cases for Monday, but one less total case than reported than Sunday’s 104 cumulative cases; an indication of one case removed with a -1. This seems to reflect that one of the new cases on Sunday was in error.
Active cases in Clay County is currently at 13 confirmed people. The Clay County Office of Emergency Management Director Alana Vaughn said that the active cases are spread evenly across three cities in Clay County: Corning, Rector and Piggott. There are 86 cases considered recovered. There have been four deaths reported in the county. There have been 2,082 negative tests among 2,185 tests.
Gov. Asa Hutchinson confirmed there were 39,447 known cases of Covid-19 in the state on Monday. That’s an increase of 824 in the last 24 hours. There were seven more deaths reported today bringing the total number of deaths to 408. Today's deaths were in the following counties: Benton - 3 deaths, 33 through 35th deaths; Craighead - 1 death, 9th death; Jefferson - 2 deaths, 35th and 36th deaths; Pike - 1 death, 1st death.
There are 6,674 known active cases with community spread accounting for 6,299 cases, nursing homes account for 81 cases and correctional facilities account for 294 cases.
There are currently 489 Arkansans hospitalized with Covid-19, with 110 of those patients on a ventilator.
