Corning man driven by love for politics
Ethan Williams is a busy man. He is currently in campaign mode as Field Director for Congressional candidate, Joyce Elliott. Elliott’s district is Little Rock and some counties around Pulaski County. She is running for election to the U.S. House to represent Arkansas' 2nd Congressional District. On Monday evening, August 24, he was training campaign workers entering what is called the persuasion phase for middle of the road voters, who are undecided. Ethan, a 2010 graduate of Corning High School is in charge of the field operations. “So I manage all of our volunteers. We're up to 700 now, which I'm really proud of, but I organize all of our phone banks, all of our text banks, as well as, our postcard program. We have volunteers who write postcards to voters for us.” His job involves managing the volunteers and organizing events for them so that they effectively contact voters and build a winning coalition for November.
