Bad weather does not stop Knobel parade

Despite nasty weather that covered the region Saturday, the 28th annual Knobel Parade went on, and some are viewing it as a Christmastime miracle of sorts. With hard wind, storms and rain plaguing the area throughout the day Saturday and temperatures plunging into the single digits that night.
“I really feel like the Lord was looking out for us,” said Knobel Mayor Doris Sellmeyer. “The rain was terrible and the wind horrendous before the parade. But as 6:00 rolled around it stopped and we were able to hold the parade.”
